Shipping, Returns & Refunds
Please allow a week for shipping of special items such as violins, custom bows, and custom cases. All other accessories and signed music items typically ship within 48 hours, Monday through Friday.
We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using First Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
TRY AND RETURN FOR 30 DAYS AFTER DELIVERY
If you’re interested in buying an instrument* online, Máiréad wants you to be comfortable with your investment. Her extended 30-day trial & return period gives you plenty of time to play and evaluate your violin thoroughly. If you feel that you are not completely satisfied with your violin, please return it for a refund. In the case of a return please inform us within 30 days of receipt of your instrument by email, fax or phone that you will be returning your purchase. We will gladly help with packing and shipping instructions.
WE WILL REFUND THE FULL PURCHASE PRICE
Màirèad Nesbitt Celtic Violin Collection does not charge any restocking fee. We will inform you via email when we have received your shipment. We will refund 100% of the purchase price after having received the returned violin within 14 days of receipt if the violin is in the exact same shape as you received it. You will be reimbursed via the method you chose for your payment. You will not be refunded for shipping.
RETURNING AN INSTRUMENT TO MÁIRÉAD NESBITT CELTIC VIOLIN COLLECTION
In returning the instrument, please pack it carefully — preferably just as we sent it to you (remember to keep your packaging) — and send it to our address with a copy of the original invoice via your carrier of choice, it is not necessary to ship via DHL, UPS or FedEx express mail – normal postal airmail services are available at reasonable cost. Please just make sure it is a service that provides a tracking number for your records. Màirèad Nesbitt Celtic Violin Collection cannot accept postage-due or COD shipments because of the high additional cost. Once we have received or collected the instrument from the customs, we will send you written confirmation and will transfer the sum to your account within 14 days.
